I prepped the car by sanding it and all the hard areas that normal body shops may not pay attention to. I removed all the chrome and accessories, even including the front and rear window. Is completely rust free, it was faded and had some small dents. The transmission was sent to a transmission shop to be completely resealed with new filter and oil. The rear wheel cylinders and shoes, and pads on the front calipers have been replaced with all new break fluid. I have new wireless points that I did not install as the engine is quiet and runs smoothly with the points, but are included with the car. The carburetor was cleaned and rebuilt, the fuel pump and rubber lines were replaced oils and filters were changed and new spark plugs and wires, along with a new interstate battery were installed. The engine is a 390 with factory air, both the engine and engine bay is all painted. This car was and is rust free, all the bolts and screws turned right out, and the metal surfaces that were not factory painted were rust free. This is an original car from Colorado that was purchased from the second owner who only used this car on special occasions for years, and finally stored the car in their dry garage for years until they decided to sell it. The car has been painted a different Ford color. Original paint code color no 4, 1734 Light Aqua (sale common color name for color frost turquoise) also was a Lincoln color. This car was driven only 23,038 original miles before it was restored.
