![]() I managed to scrap my way to the final mission. When I tried to land the thing defied gravity then exploded. I alt+f4'd, tried the mission again and BARELY succeeded. I didn't even know the body of your plane could break. This was the first time I have EVER been completely shot down. 4 superheavy (the ones with cannons in USAAF, idk what to call em but they part in front of your plane and shoot the head off your pilot) fighters, and about 2-4 normal fighters. Nobody has ever died, people have gotten hurt/gone into bleedout. I've landed the British bomber with one landing wheel and it has worked. But apparently if you have one wheel down and you try to land, American bombers defy gravity, bounce up, crash down and explode, and kill all your crew (this HAS to be a bug but it SEEMS like it CAN be part of the gameplay, if it is then it's the worst decision I have ever seen). But I didn't because I thought since I was actually ON THE LANDING PAD I would be able to salvage everything. Usually I alt+f4 if my bomber explodes AND ALL my crew is dead. But then I accidentally lost my bomber and entire crew. ![]() The first few missions and critical missions were easy(ish) and I was doing. Then I got USAAF and I was like "Oh cool I have more guns this'll be easy!" BUT WHEN I CAN'T EVEN COMPLETE A "LOW" RISK MISSION BECAUSE THERE ARE LITERALLY (and I counted) NINETEEN FIGHTERS (half of which are heavy and a quarter of which are jet fighters) IT REALLY GETS ON YOUR NERVES AFTER TWENTYISH TRIES! I had NO problems with the base game. I am a determined person who tries multiple things to try and get the result I want. I've been playing roguelikes for a long time and know my way around grinding and such. All that text below provides context for better answers. I know this a long read, it isn't a troll/rage post it's a cry for help.
